The Scottish Fold is a unique cat, easily distinguished by it's folded ears, which is also how it got it's name. They usually have a dense, plush, soft coat that comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns: solid, tabby, tabby and white, bicolor and particolor. Eye color depends on coat color. For instance, white and bicolor cats can have blue eyes or odd eyes (each eye is a different color).

Scottish Fold's trace their heritage back to Susie, a white cat with unusual folded ears who earned her keep as a mouser in a barn in Scotland’s Tayside region. Eventually one female was bred and someone kept a kitten and bred that kitten, eventually turning into the kitten it is today.

Fun Fact: They are usually compared to an owl.
